Opened in 1950 as "The Palace," renamed Nouveau Palais after Bill 101 in 1977. Taken over in 2010 by Jacques Séguin and Mary-Martha Campbell, who kept the room's retro decor, with chef Gita Seaton in the kitchen since 2011 — turning a basic neighbourhood diner into a more considered room without losing its character. Burgers, chicken wings, salads and weekend brunch, service until 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Order the house burger or the weekend brunch.
