Housed since 1972 in the Youville Stables — a building with sections dating to 1694, once tied to Marguerite d'Youville's Grey Nuns — Gibbys is an Old Montreal steakhouse institution. Now owned by the Grandio Group (also behind Moishe's and La Cage) following founder Gibby's passing in 2018, it holds a Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice award and remains a fixture for steak and seafood in the old city.
