410 rue Saint-Jacques

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

Old Port pastificio on Saint-Jacques Street, envisioned by Massimo Lecas, a longtime figure on Montreal's nightlife and dining scene. Chef Jonathan Agnello hand-shapes pasta on site — scarpinocc, capunti — visible through a large window, on a menu that shifts from southern to northern Italy.

The Gauley Brothers architectural studio, also behind Fugazzi Pizza and Foiegwa, highlighted the space's brick and wood to evoke small Italian addresses in New York.
