Sabrosa

404 Place Jacques-Cartier

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

Opened on Place Jacques-Cartier, inside a historic stone building, by co-owners Nadia and Takeshi. The menu, developed by chefs Guillaume and Evangelo, draws on the culinary traditions of Mexico City, Lima and Buenos Aires, filtered through a Japanese touch.

Shrimp ceviche, tacos al pastor and birria tacos rank among the house standouts. The terrace overlooking the square has become one of the Old Port's busiest summer addresses.
