September Café

2471 rue Notre-Dame Ouest

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

Born in 2016 from a passion for coffee and surfing, September opened on Notre-Dame West as a café, retail space and surfboard-shaping studio all at once. The kitchen, vegetable-forward and seasonal, offers grain bowls, salads and fermented dishes in a spare room with warm timber accents.

It has become a neighbourhood gathering spot, known for its brunch — pancakes and avocado toast chief among them.
