Barley

2613 rue Notre-Dame Ouest

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

A brunch-and-coffee spot open for nearly eight years on Notre-Dame West, Barley belongs to Soufian Mamlouk, who also owns Heni and Lulu Épicerie nearby. The menu pairs mezze, halloumi and Turkish eggs with a playful cereal bar, alongside classic cocktails and specialty coffee.

Service runs seven days a week for lunch and brunch, in a cozy room built for neighbourhood regulars.
