Roxy Focaccia

387 Rue Saint-Zotique Est

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

A sandwich counter that started in 2024 as an improvised pop-up at Jean-Talon Market — "just for fun," say founders and siblings Roxanna, Mauro and Elisa Covone, together with friends Vincent Romito and Adamo Urgolo, as a nod to their Italian roots. Demand was immediate, and a permanent home opened November 22, 2025, on Rue Saint-Zotique Est, next to La Lune Rotisserie.

The house-made focaccia is the signature, especially loaded with Italian mortadella, Quebec buffalo stracciatella, and house pistachio pesto. The menu changes every two to three months with the seasons — Tastet counts it among Montreal's best sandwiches.
