WILLS

Petite-Italie, Montréal

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

Microbrewery and wine bar opened in July 2023 in Mile-Ex by cousins Alexander and Ethan Wills, in the former Alexandraplatz space. Ethan co-ran Lawrence, Larrys and Boucherie Lawrence; Alexander, a geochemist and volcanologist who spent two decades working abroad, came home to join the project. Brewing is led by Ryan Lewell, formerly head brewer at Brewskey, best known here for the IPA lineup.

Chef Julieta Filippo's kitchen turns out small sharing plates built to pair with the beer and natural wine list. Friendly terrace, unapologetically neighbourhood in feel.
