Vin Mon Lapin

150 Rue Saint-Zotique Est, Montréal

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

Wine bar and restaurant launched in 2018 under the Joe Beef group, taken over in December 2019 by husband-and-wife team Vanya Filipovic (sommelier) and Marc-Olivier Frappier (chef), with Jessica Noël running the kitchen alongside him. The name nods to Jura winemaker Jean-François Ganevat, who calls all his friends "mon lapin."

A short, ever-changing menu built around natural wine: in-house dry-aged meats, ultra-fresh fish, house-made pasta, sea urchin omelette, rabbit sausage. Ranked number one on Canada's 100 Best in 2023 and 2024, and given a "Recommended" mention in Quebec's inaugural Michelin Guide, 2025.
