Restaurant La Citronnelle

1386, rue Fleury Est, Montréal

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

Vietnamese restaurant on Fleury Street, open for more than 27 years and run as a bring-your-own-wine spot. The menu leans on repertoire classics — General Tao chicken, ginger or satay stir-fries, imperial rolls — plus the lemongrass soup that gives the house its name.

Named best restaurant in the Sault-au-Récollet sector in a 2015 people's-choice vote, it remains a well-frequented neighbourhood address on Promenade Fleury, near Christophe-Colomb street.
