Figata

4401 Rue Notre-Dame Ouest

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

Trattoria opened in early 2026 on Notre-Dame Ouest, in the former Tequila Bar space, by Steve Marcone (Bistro Amerigo, NDG), Viral Patel (former owner of Tequila Bar) and chef Rani Agha (formerly of Entre-Deux, NDG). The décor — checkered tablecloths, dark wood — nods to New York's Little Italy.

The polpette follow Marcone's family recipe; the lumache alla vodka is a tip of the hat to Carbone's spicy rigatoni. Chef Agha says his Caesar salad combines elements borrowed from nearby Mano Cornuto and Elena.
