Chocolaterie Bonneau

69, rue Fleury Ouest, Montréal

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

French chocolate shop and pâtisserie opened in 2012 on Fleury Street by master chocolatier Yves Bonneau, who brings thirty years of experience to the craft. The house is known for its fine ganaches, its signature Palet à l'orange, and its Sortilège gift boxes, spiked with the Québec maple whisky of the same name.

A bean-to-bar line made from Peruvian cacao rounds out the offering, alongside an on-site pastry counter and crêperie. Bonneau ranks among Québec's best chocolate shops according to Radio-Canada and Journal de Montréal.
