On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.
A family-run Portuguese table on the Main, with traditional azulejo tilework, split across several dining rooms.
It serves bacalhau à brás, grilled sardines and whole porgy, polvo à lagareiro, grilled octopus, and caldo verde. There is a full bar and a Portuguese wine list, and the house opens daily from midday until late.
Casa Minhota is on the Regulars map — noted, not yet visited. Our guides are written on foot, door by door, and nobody pays to be in them. Whether the house takes part in Regulars is still to be confirmed. No points, no coupons — standing is earned.
