NDG Luncheonette

6800, avenue Fielding, Montréal

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

A 24-seat American-style diner run by cousins Sophia Khalil-Griffin and Dillon Griffin. The menu reworks classic diner staples — a smashed burger, hot dog, thick-cut BLT, smoked meat sandwich, pancakes — using local ingredients like Mange-Tout smoked salmon and bread from Snowdon Bakery.

Boxing memorabilia lines the walls, a nod to the owners' family ties to the sport, and several dishes are named after loved ones.
