Dandy

244, rue Saint-Jacques, Montréal

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

The first restaurant from chef Michael Tozzi, who trained at Le Club Chasse et Pêche before running the kitchen at Olive et Gourmando, Dandy opened in early 2018 on Rue Saint-Jacques, inside an ocher-sandstone Beaux-Arts building.

The retro-modern decor, designed by Blazys Gérard, nods to classic New York lunch counters. The daytime menu leans Italian — a nod to the chef's own roots — paired with an ambitious natural wine list.
