Caravane Café

3506, avenue Lacombe

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

The only independent café in Côte-des-Neiges, founded by couple Karim and Valérie with the idea of creating a gathering place shaped by the neighbourhood's student population — "a café by and for students." The kitchen builds its sandwiches around crusty breads, cured meats and locally sourced produce.

The menu also covers brunch, pastries and salads, served from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily, in a space meant to anchor the surrounding community.
