Al Amine

3549, avenue Lacombe

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

A Lebanese counter right next to Côte-des-Neiges metro station, where charcoal grills turn out shish taouk, shawarma and pizza. According to the owner, everything is prepared on site and nothing is frozen, despite the fast-food format.

Open early and late — until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays — the spot serves a neighbourhood clientele at affordable prices.
