Boucherie Édouard et Léo

55, rue Fleury Ouest, Montréal

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

Neighbourhood butcher shop opened in 2022 at the corner of Fleury and Clark by chef Marc-André Jetté, chef-owner of Hoogan et Beaufort; the online shop had already been running since late summer 2021. The name honours two grandfathers: Léo, who raised white Charolais cattle, and Édouard, a third-generation farmer and grandfather of Jetté's partner.

The shop favours local producers with sustainable practices — meat cuts, ready-to-eat dishes cooked in-house, Quebec cheeses, artisanal pasta, and local beers, ciders and wines.
