Boom J's Cuisine

2026 Rue Wellington

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

Caribbean restaurant that opened April 19, 2013 on Rue Wellington, since joined by a second location in Ville-Émard. The jerk chicken is marinated and cooked on an authentic jerk drum imported from Kingston, Jamaica.

The menu runs through Jamaican staples — curried goat, oxtail, rotis, patties, ackee and saltfish — built for takeout and delivery as much as sit-down, per the restaurant's own materials.
