Kosher Quality Bakery

5855, avenue Victoria

On our map. We haven't walked through the door yet — here's why it's on the list.

An emblematic kosher bakery on Avenue Victoria, sold in 2025 after nearly 50 years under David Klein to Simi Wenger of the Fooderie Market group — who grew up on the same street and calls the purchase a childhood dream come true, per COLlive and The Suburban.

Known for its challah, knishes and cheese bagels, the shop is expected to keep its name, possibly as "Kosher Quality by Fooderie." Klein is staying on part-time through the transition.
